An Unexpected Exile to Playa Misterio

Nieves Bolós was the first contestant chosen by the audience to be banished to Playa Misterio, one of the toughest survival zones in Supervivientes. This came as a shock to her, as she had not expected to face such an extreme challenge so early in the competition. Her exile was part of a double elimination, caused by the massive list of nominations that resulted from the penalty imposed on Playa Furia contestants.

Upon arriving at Playa Misterio, Nieves was visibly disoriented and overwhelmed. She found herself alongside fellow contestants Manuel and Samya, but the sight of the meager food supplies only added to her distress. As she adjusted to the harsh reality of her new environment, she struggled to find comfort despite the encouragement of her fellow castaways.

The Emotional Toll of the Competition

During a live broadcast of the show, host Jorge Javier Vázquez connected with Playa Misterio to check in on the contestants. When he asked Nieves about her experience, she expressed gratitude toward her companions, acknowledging that they had helped her smile despite her struggles. However, she admitted that she was stuck in an emotional loop, feeling lost and unwell.

“I can’t say anything bad about my companions,” Nieves said. “Thanks to them, I’ve managed to smile from time to time. But honestly, I’m not in a good place emotionally. I have my ups and downs.”

Jorge Javier pressed further, asking why she was feeling so low. It was then that Nieves opened up completely about her emotional turmoil. “I’m in a really bad mental state. I never expected what happened on Tuesday. I don’t know if I did something wrong, if I wasn’t understood, or if people just don’t like me as much as the other contestants who were saved.”

She went on to explain how deeply personal this competition was for her. “For me, Supervivientes has always been my dream. I’m a very athletic person, and I love everything about this show—the challenges, the personal growth, the tests of endurance. Ending up here in just the second week was something I never saw coming, and I’m really struggling with it.”

Words of Encouragement and a Fighting Spirit

Seeing Nieves’ distress, Manuel stepped in to offer words of encouragement. “You have to see the glass as half full,” he told her. “That’s what I keep trying to remind her.”

Jorge Javier also stepped in to give her some advice, reminding her that as long as she was on Playa Misterio, she was still in the competition. “You need to remember this: while you’re still here, you’re still playing the game,” he said firmly. His words were meant to inspire Nieves to keep pushing forward, despite the difficulties she was facing.
